Your inbox stays yours.

What this app does

Inbox Attachments helps you find and download email attachments. You connect your own Outlook or Gmail account, tell the app in your own words what you are looking for, and it shows matching attachments with the sender's name and the file title. You can download one file or many at once.

You choose whether the app looks at received mail, sent mail, or both.

What we access

When you connect an inbox, the app can read your email messages and their attachments in the account you connect. It uses this to list attachments, show the sender and recipients, group files by email, and let you download them.

We only read what is needed to run the features you use. The app does not send, move, delete, or modify your emails.

What we do NOT do with your data

We do not store your emails, attachments, or mailbox contents. Attachments and message details are read on the fly when you scan or search, and are not kept after your session.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your mail data for advertising, profiling, or marketing. We do not let humans read your emails except if you personally ask us to investigate a problem you reported.

We do not transfer your mail content to anyone else, except as described in the next section.

How searching works

When you describe what you are looking for, the app sends your search request together with basic details about the scanned messages (file names, file types, subjects, sender and recipient names and addresses, dates) to an AI model, which decides which messages match your request.

Your request and these details are used only to produce your search results. The AI provider does not use them to train its models.

Account information

To use the app you create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google or Microsoft. We keep your account email address and a record of which inbox you connected.

Access to your inbox uses an authorization token issued by Google or Microsoft. We keep this token only so the app can connect on your behalf. Disconnecting your inbox in the app deletes the token from our systems.

Gmail restricted scope: Limited Use

Inbox Attachments' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In plain terms: Gmail data is used to provide the feature you asked for, is not stored, and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Data security

Your inbox authorization is stored encrypted. Access to the app is protected by your account, and the connection between your browser and the app is encrypted.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit who can reach it.

Your choices

Disconnect your inbox at any time from inside the app. This removes the saved authorization immediately.

Delete your account and ask us to remove anything associated with it by contacting us using the details below.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
